Costa Del Mar (Costa) has an established mission to create the clearest sunglasses on the planet for life's great adventures. Costa and their agency, McGarrah Jessee, identified an opportunity to boost market awareness through a contemporary ecommerce website that better communicated Costa's hardcore passion. McGarrah Jessee tagged White Lion to execute a site that is not only engaging for visitors, but reliable and robust enough to perform.
Behind the scenes, the robust content management system supports 182 pages of content and more than 60,000 images. The custom Media Library allows images and videos to be uploaded, edited, cropped and assigned for various uses throughout the site. The content management system gives the administrators keys to completely manage, update, and enhance the site at any time. White Lion integrated a cloud-based content distribution network (CDN) to streamline delivery for fast download times and optimal user experience.
Costa's Care & Repair application was also completely redesigned from the ground up to help Costa's support team warranty and repair their customers' favorite shades. Tied directly to the e-commerce store, the application allows customers to communicate with Costa customer service representatives and have 24/7 access to the status of their repairs.
Finally, the site is integrated with web-services to keep the site's products, customers, orders, and stock levels in sync with Costa's ERP systems.
