At the launch party held at the Highball this week, we learned that sales doubled right out of the gate. Day one!

We are very excited to announce the launch of a new website for the Florida Apartment Association (FAA).
We first connected with FAA after our work on the Texas Apartment Association’s Redbook Online project launched. The Redbook project represented taking their massive printed manual of rules and bylaws and moving it to the Web in an online searchable database. Moving it to the Web meant no more expensive printing bills annually, as well as a more usable and mobile tool for their members who use it frequently.
FAA needed a similar tool for their members as well as a full website redesign. The result is a bright new site to house their magazine information, association news, legislative updates, member’s only content, events and so much more.
Custom content management tools were developed to match their business rules and provide their administrative team the easiest method to update content.

This week marked the launch of the new Wortham Insurance website! This company has been around for nearly 100 years and has an amazing reputation for comprehensive client solutions, innovative technology and client service. A lot like our team here at White Lion. So, we were really excited to work with this highly respected Texas-based company.
Wortham’s site had really grown outdated and wasn’t working as hard as it could to increase awareness of the brand, 20+ industries and 6 locations served. The new website showcases a refreshed visual identity and content that is highly organized and easily accessible to clients and prospects.
Well known for their commitment to client service, White Lion is helping Wortham show off that commitment through the latest web technology. Additional functionality to the site is already in the works to include ecommerce (for clients to conveniently pay online) and SMS notifications for emergency or disaster alerts. These new online capabilities illustrate Wortham’s commitment to being a leader in the utilization of technology in the insurance industry.

White Lion’s teamwork with Rawle Murdy has produced another award winning site: www.ka-bar.com — a leading manufacturer of high quality military, hunting, sporting, all-purpose utility, and outdoor survival knives. Previous engagements with Rawle Murdy include the Cabin Bluff website, as well as plans for mobile versions of some other sites.
Rawle Murdy’s outstanding reputation is backed by several awards from the American Advertising Federation and South Carolina Public Relations Society of A
merica. Their work has been recognized by PRWeek, Communication Arts, the American Marketing Association and the Public Relations Society of America.
As the design and marketing house, Rawle Murdy provided White Lion with the blueprints to build the new site for KA-BAR. The agency leaned on White Lion for its deep bench of programming talent and expertise in building custom, conversion-focused ecommerce. The site features full ecommerce functionality with back-end tools for managing products and content throughout the site.
KA-BAR was a Communication Arts webpick in January. The award is for KA-BAR’s outstanding example of Web design selected on a combination of superior aesthetics, technical expertise, functionality and overall site experience.
Since recently launching the site, KA-BAR has enjoyed their highest sales month on record in November.

…but before it does, we want to announce some new website launches.
First up is Live Oak-Gottesman (www.liveoak.com). The design is simply stellar, and the site is really easy for visitors to quickly find properties in the portfolio or available spaces. And as intuitive and cool the Available Space section is for users on the front business end of the website, it’s equally as easy-to-use for their team when updating content using the content management tools.
Second up is Heritage Title of Austin (www.heritagetitleofaustin.com). The site features a sleek new design with a highly intuitive navigation organizing a bunch of information. And be sure to check out the newly designed Residential Calculators. We love taking something like a calculator form and making it attractive and very easy to use.
So bring on 2012 already. The White Lion team is ready to hit the ground running with some great new websites.

Live Oak Gottesman is an Austin-based commercial real estate firm who owns and manages assets exceeding seven million square feet across all sub-markets and property types. They chose White Lion to redesign their website to better represent their fresh, modern presence in the commercial real estate world.
The result is a clean, new interface that allows users to easily browse Live Oak’s vast portfolio, quickly search for available space, and find who to contact for information in just a few clicks.
Not only did White Lion create a great experience for Live Oak’s clients, the expert back-end developers created smart, easy tools to enable the Live Oak team to manage their property database. What used to be a multi-step, time consuming process has been culled down to an easy, one stop content management system.
Live Oak Gottesman launched their new site on November 15, and their clients couldn’t be happier.

Bury+Partners is a nationally recognized leader in engineering design, land planning and landscape architecture. This year they asked White Lion to help redesign their website to better showcase their broad range of experience and vast project portfolio.
The Goal: To show visitors who Bury+Partners is, what they stand for, and what they do.
The Result: A beautiful website that seamlessly showcases the services Bury has to offer, the markets they serve, and information on over 200 projects.
With such a large number of projects and so many services and markets to link them to, White Lion was challenged to build a custom content management tool to allow the Bury team to easily manage such a vast amount of information. And to do so without the need to know any programming whatsoever.
The resulting interface allows anyone from their team to manage over 900 pieces of content in a simple, easy-to-use system.
Bury+Partners launched their new website on October 3 and the community feedback has been outstanding!

The West Austin Youth Association has been providing 30 fun sport activities to over 5,000 kids for more than 30 years! Each year their organization grows and fills up more teams!
This year White Lion and WAYA teamed up to create a user-friendly interface that allows online registration for all programs, camps, events, and membership. Members can log in and filter their kids’ current activities and what they are eligible for as well. It’s a quick way for parents to fill up their kids’ schedules with fun in no time at all!
The site boasts over 11 different forms, 17 content management sections and 50 plus pages. With such a large site, White Lion’s development team made it easy for members and non-members alike to find what they are looking for with mega DHTML menus and a chunky footer. We also provide a program and camp filter tool that lets parents easily find the qualified activity for their children.
WAYA unveiled their new site on Monday July 18th, and has increased their membership by twenty families in just the first few days!
